Yodsanklai Fairtex Workout/Interview Prior to Lion Fight 8
Yodsanklai Fairtex workouts last night inside the FASI Sports in Las Vegas, Nevada.
All the way from Thailand, Yodsanklai Fairtex, one of the world’s greatest Muay Thai fighters, and a main event headliner of tomorrow’s Lion Fight 8, held open workouts yesterday. The legend takes on multiple Muay Thai Champion Gregory Choplin tomorrow night in a full Muay Thai rules event, taking place inside the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Fairtex is making his long-awaited fighting debut on American soil, while also headlining the first ever live nationally televised Muay Thai card. When asked, Yodsanklai Fairtex said “I feel great about fighting in the U.S., everything about this fight is good,” he continues. “Choplin is taller than me but it’s no problem. I can get in there and finish the job. I’m looking for the knockout.”
Also on the card will be the WBC Muay Thai Champion and undefeated female fighter Tiffany Van Soest taking on Alexis Rufus in the co-main event. The entire Lion Fight 8 main card will be presented live on AXS TV starting at 7pm PT /10pm ET.
