Strikeforce: Scoring wrong for Diaz vs Noons fight

Just in case you were wondering how one of the three judges scored tonight’s five round war between Nick Diaz and KJ Noons 49-47 for Diaz, let me explain….. They didn’t! When the scores were announced they were all in favor of the champ Nick Diaz and read like this 48-47, 49-47 and 49-46.

what throw everyone off was the middle judge and how you get a 48-47, while whomever adds them up didn’t do a very good job. Looking at a copy of the scorecard you’ll see the judge gave four round to Diaz and one round to Noons, all 10-9 rounds. Which should equal a 49-46 fight and not a 48-47, mystery solved.

Before you bash the judges here, it wasn’t their mistake but the one transferring the scores to one card that is to blame.
