After a week away Bellator returns to action this weekend with two tournament finals headlining Bellator 57. Title shots are on the line as new tournament champions will be crowned in the welterweight and middleweight divisions.

In the middleweight tournament, Alexander Shlemenko looks to earn another shot at Hector Lombard but he’ll have to get past Vitor Vianna fight. The loss to Lombard at Bellator 34 was for the Bellator middleweight title, it’s the only blemish on Shlemenko’s record in his last 12 bouts. Vianna is no slouch though, having only lost once five years ago to Thiago Alves.

The night’s main event is the welterweight tournament final between Douglas Lima and Ben Saunders. The former MFC champion (Lima) is riding a wave of hype and an eight fight winning streak into his bout with the former UFC fighter Saunders. The Ultimate Fighter season six contestant is 4-0 since being released from the UFC, which includes three wins with Bellator.

The four fighters in the finals do not typically let fight goes the distance so as the often used saying goes, DON’T BLINK.

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
