Jamie Varner vs. Shinya Aoki Rumored for Dream 17
News out of Jamie Varner’s management team yesterday had Varner fighting Shinya Aoki at Dream 17 on May 29th in Japan. The release though seems a bit pre-mature as Varner’s camp and Aoki’s camp still have details that need to be hammered out.
Dream 17 Bantamweight Grand Prix Match-ups Announced
Dream 17 features the first two rounds of their Bantamweight Tournament in what they hope will be an effort to raise money for relief for Japan from the Earthquake and subsequent tsunami that caused massive damage to Japan. So far only the Bantamweight matches have been announced.
Dream Promo Video for Kawajiri/Aoki/Takaya Fight!!
With the disaster in Japan and the hard time the citizens of Japan are currently dealing with DREAM has put out a promo video with the message of “Let us entertain you!” Japanese born fighters Tatsuya Kawajiri, Shinya Aoki and Hiroyuki Takaya will all be fighting on this Saturdays Strikeforce card.
