A good night of fights tonight at UFC 109 with some good finishes sprinkled in with alot of decisions. The finish by Randy Couture was a bit of a pleasant suprise as many thought he’d win but by a decision and to pull out a submission was nice.
The UFC will hold it’s first ever main event featuring two present Hall of Famers Saturday in Las Vegas when Randy Couture faces Mark Coleman.
The UFC officially opened their first gym yesterday in concord, California with a big grand opening. Some of the guests attending the event were Dana White, Chuck Liddell, Mark Mastrov, Jim Rowley and that was just the press conference.
This is a disappointment because the first fight was such a shock and some including Koscheck thought it was an early stoppage.
UFC 106 is now in the books and last night was an interested night of fights.
Saturday the UFC we be in the UK once again and the event will be free on spike. It will also be the first time Randy Couture will be live on free television.
Kampmann will remain on the UFC 103 fight card where he will face recently signed Paul “Semtex” Daley
