Last night, Zuffa and Co. entered into Washington D.C.’s Verizon Center with a decent free card on Versus network and showed the capital and the rest of MMA why smaller weight classes are always exciting and that Dominick Cruz is easily becoming the most dominant bantamweight fighter of all time.
The UFC Live 6: Cruz vs. Johnson main card on Versus looked to keep the pace set by the prelims on Facebook earlier. Anchored by the first title fight on Versus and only the second title fight to be shown on free TV, the other being Rampage Jackson vs. Dan Henderson at UFC 75.
Once again fight fans are gifted with a free UFC fight card with some of the most exciting fighters in the world. The UFC Live 6 main event will be broadcasted on Spike Television this Saturday night live from the nation’s capital for the first time in Washington DC. An event promising to fill the Verizon Center will showcase a live title fight free for the first time since 2007.
The UFC hits the Versus airways once again for another solid free card and as a bonus, the card is headlined with a title fight. This Saturday Oct. 1, 2011, from the Verizon Center, in Washington D.C. Dominick Cruz will make his fourth bantamweight title against Demetrious Johnson.
