Rogue Fights - Battle RoyaleThe ballroom inside the Win-River Casino began to fill up as the doors were opened one hour before Rogue Fights got started. The fight card for the night consisted of eight amateur bouts with one title fight and two professional bouts. Fighters from California, Washington and Oregon stepped into the cage looking to showcase their skills for the fans in attendance.

135 lbs.: Alex Fasleev defeated Chad Goodman by 1st rd. TKO (2:52)

For a one round fight there was loads of action. Goodwin was making his amateur debut nearly got caught in a armbar following a takedown. Fasleev lost the submission and the fight would return to the feet. Fasleev rocked Goodwin who turned his back and nearly got finished but out of nowhere Goodwin rocks Fasleev. Goodwin had his chance to finish but Fasleev reversed into full mount and finished the fight from there.

140 lbs.: Kevin Boehm defeated Carlos Alvarado by 1st rd. Guillotine Submission (1:24)

Alvarado looked to secure an early takedown but Boehm was having none of that. He landed an illegal knee on Alvarado that briefly halted the fight but action quickly returned. Boehm was able to stuff another takedown attempt from Alvarado while also locking in a choke that forced the tap.

125 lbs.: Christian Espinosa defeated Jesse Davis by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

After two exciting quick finished this fight was a grinding three round fight. Espinosa wanted the fight on the ground but when there at times he wasn’t doing anything. Davis couldn’t get up when Espinosa took him down and that is what cost him the fight.

225 lbs.: Hank Turner defeated Dan Lewis by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

A case of a wrestler making his MMA debut against a tough SOB who just likes to fight. Turner took the fight down multiple times but never really put much together which brought on the boo’s from the crowd.

205 lbs.: Michael Sandridge defeated Koa George by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Typically fans boo for the wrong reason but the boo’s for this fight were justified. George spent more time adjusting his cup, which at one point fell out (yes fell out) than punching. Sandridge didn’t help though letting him stand there and do it but he clearly won the fight.

265 lbs.: Terrell Bosen defeated Scott Davenport by 1st rd. TKO (2:57)

Bosen as making his 12th amateur fight and the experienced showed. Davenport came out in a mask and might have to wear for a few days after the beating he took tonight.

205 lbs. Title Fight: Zane Robinson defeated Josh Coleman by 3rd rd TKO (2:34)

Coleman looked for the one punch knockout for most of the fight and never fully opening up. Robinson waited and picked his shots early while avoiding any of the bombs from Coleman. in the final round Robinson got the fight to the ground and a tired Coleman could not stand back up and was ultimately grounded out.

155 lbs.: Ashton Pierce defeated Chris Logan by 1st rd. Triangle Choke Submission (:052)

Logan grabbed a takedown but fell right into a triangle choke. Pierce held on tight and Logan would eventually tap. The two got a little heated after the tap when Logan slammed his hand down in disgusted near the head of Pierce.

140 lbs. Pro Fight: Chris Roman defeated Gerald Bailey by 1st rd. Rear-Naked Choke Submission (2:35)

Bailey had the advantage early in the fight but a pile driver while on the back of Roman turned the fight. From there Roman got the fight in his favor and grabbed top control and then the back of Bailey.

130 lbs. Pro Fight: Robby Schepps defeated Soloman Jones by 1st rd. Kimura Submission (2:03)

These two ended the night with a bang, two bangs in fact. After Jones slammed Schepps he got back up slammed Jones. The fight would stay there and Schepps moved to a crucifix and dropped 15+ unanswered shots. Schepps then used his dominate position to grab a Kimura and force a tap.
