At BAMMA 7, Paul Daley misses weight, had the fight moved to a catchweight and ultimately walked out the cage the winner. If the scenario sounds vaguely familiar you are not going crazy, it has happen before. Daley (28-11-2) has in fact done this on four separate occasions now and with today win has now improved to 4-0 at a catchweight.

Mark Bocek Calls out George Sotiropolus after his win at UFC 124

Dustin Hazelett losses third in a row at UFC 124

The first UFC 124 fight shown live on UFC.com was a lightweight scrap between Mark Bocek (9-3) and Dustin Hazelett (12-7). Both fighter s were coming into the fight off a loss, but Hazelett was clearly on the hot seat having lost two in a row by early TKO/KO.

Hazelett looks to Reinvent Himself at 155lbs

This Saturday, Dustin “McLovin” Hazelett (14-6 MMA, 5-4 UFC) will make his return to UFC Lightweight division after a 2 ½ year stint in the Welterweight division.  He will encounter Canadian grappling specialist Mark Bocek (8-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) in a bout scheduled for preliminary card of UFC 124 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.  Hazelett is counting on the change in weight class to provide him with the spark he has been searching for and return him to his winning ways.

Rick Story dominates, ready for the main card

Rick Story came into UFC 117 as the underdog against Dustin Hazelett, but left with his hand raised after dominating the entire fight. Story clearly came into this fight with a game plan for the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Hazelett.

Right as the bell sounded to begin round one, Story was all over Hazelett using his aggressive striking to get inside. Once inside, Story kept the pressure on and repeatedly slammed him to the canvas. Once on the mat, Story then continued the punishment until he’d back off to let Hazelett up.
