According to his Twitter account UFC Middleweight Jake Rosholt has been cut from the UFC.
Not a good day. Just found out I got cut by the #UFC
Even though he was just 2-2 inside the cage (between the UFC & WEC) I’m surprised by this move. His two loses were both first round submissions to Dan Miller and Kendall Grove. He’s only 27 with 8 fights under his belt, so getting cut will give him a chance to get better and come back a complete fighter. I talked to Jake’s managment and he has in fact been cut by the UFC.
