MFC 34: Total Recall took place Friday night in Edmonton, Alberta at the Mayfield Trade Centre, and all of the main card fights aired live on AXS TV. The main event was a rematch between Mukai Maromo and Adam Lynn and it was supposed to be a 5 round title fight for the vacant lightweight belt. That all went out the window when Maromo missed weight and the fight was changed to a 3 round scrap.
The Maximum Fighting Championship had three fighters miss weight for Friday’s MFC 34: Total Recall event, including Adam Lynn who was scheduled to Mukai Maromo for the vacant MFC lightweight title. The fight will still take place but has now been reduced to a three-round, non-title fight.
After making one change to the MFC 34 lineup, Maximum Fighting Championship has finalized the lineup for the August 10th MFC 34: Total Recall lineup. The lone change to the lineup was Jason Zentgraf stepping in for Mike Kent to take on Cody Krahn in the opening televised bout at MFC 34.
Canadian promotion Aggression MMA today released their fight card for its upcoming September 16th event, Aggression MMA: Unfinished Business. Featuring Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford, Tim “Thrashing Machine” Hague, and Freddy Assuncao, “Unfinished Business” will take place at the Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton on Friday, September 16th and can be seen across the globe through online Pay-Per-View at www.AggressionMMA.com for only $9.99.
Edmonton,Albertabased promotion Aggression MMA has announced that it is bringing back some of the top Canadian stars for its September event. Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford, Tim “The Thrashing Machine” Hague, and Ryan “The Kid” McGillivray have all been signed to compete on this fight card Canadian fight fans won’t want to miss.
Live from Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, Texas the UFC is giving the troops a great night of fights to support the intrepid fallen heroes’ fund. The main card can be seen of SpikeTV starting at 6pm PT/9pm ET but the UFC also made four preliminary bouts available on Facebook starting at 4pm PT/7pm ET.
The second UFC event held on an US military base will be coming to Spike TV on January 22nd at Fort Hood, Texas. This fight card while not the most staked on paper, usually turns out to have very great fights that are free to the fans. The UFC is one of the few major sports organizations that host events that mainly benefit suffering soldiers and veterans, and it makes veterans and a MMA fan very proud to see.
