On November 6th Anchor Bay and the Ultimate Fighting Championship will introduce a one of a kind anthology titled the UFC: Ultimate Fight Collection 2012 Edition. This mega 20-disc DVD set captures every jaw-dropping moment with over 50 hours of footage and featuring the top 200 greatest battles fought inside to Octagon between July 2011 and June 2012, including more than 75 fights never before available on DVD.

The month of November might have only had two major title fights but both would end with the challengers hands raised. The two new champions along with the other action last month gave the ranking plenty of changes, including a new number one in the heavyweight division.
Light heavyweights Rashad Evans and Phil Davis were supposed to fight on August 6th at UFC 133, but an injury to Davis nixed the main event. The two now appear set to headline the UFC on FOX 2 card scheduled for January 28th in Chicago, Illinois.
Wanderlei Silva was reborn a week ago today in San Jose. His impressive TKO finish of film and television star Cung Le was reminiscent of the Wanderlei who went undefeated in 18 straight fights under the PRIDE Fighting Championships banner.
Coming off his impressive victory over Matt Hughes at UFC 135, Josh Koscheck looked for a quick return to the Octagon. He lobbied to be on the UFC 139 card in San Jose, California to fight in the city he’d been training in for year at AKA. While he didn’t get his request to fight, he did get his chance in front of the fans.
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (32-9) wanted on the UFC 144 card in Japan and what once looked unlikely, is now going to happened. The former Pride star was briefly rumored to be facing Stephen Bonnar but he will in fact be facing the Ultimate fighter season 8 winner, Ryan Bader (13-2).
It’s not often we get two fight of the year caliber fights on the same night, however, that is exactly what happened this past Saturday. Bellator had Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez and the UFC gave us Dan Henderson vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
