However seven fighters, including Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Tito Ortiz and Mark Hominick received much stiffer suspensions of 60 days following their defeats.
Finally the flyweight division is coming to the biggest Mixed Martial Arts Promotion in 2012. At Saturdays UFC 140, UFC President Dana White announced the 125 pound division would debut inside the Octagon in March of 2012.
Frank Mir has been hearing it ever since his first victory over Antonio Nogueira, that Big Nog wasn’t completely healthy going into the fight, watering down Mir’s impressive victory. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion put those stories to rest as he defeated the former Pride Heavyweight Champion, stopping him for the second time during last nights UFC 140.
Once again MMA proved that you never know and that anything can happen when you step into the cage. Take tonight’s UFC 140 in Toronto, Canada for example, six of the 12 fights ended in the opening round while another three didn’t make it out of the second round. The exciting night might be in the books but the results from tonight will be talked about for a long time across the internet.

Out of the 24 fighters, only lightweight Dennis Hallman missed weight and coming off his speedo incident at UFC 133 the veteran’s on very thin ice.
