It is the day and age of reality television, fantasy games for every major sport and people practically hard-wired into the internet. It shouldn’t come as a shock to see a Mixed Martial Arts promotion following in those footsteps and allowing the fans to play matchmaker for a day.

Legacy Fighting Championship is doing just that for their July 16th bout taking place at the Houston Arena Theater in Houston, Texas. Former power ranger Jason David Frank made is professional MMA debut tonight after going 4-0 as an amateur. His Fight was part of the Texas Cage Fighting: Puro Combate 1 card in Houston, Texas. Frank fought Jose Roberto Vasquez who was also making his pro debut. Frank wasted little time as he needed only 46 seconds to finish the fight via rear naked choke submission.

Last friday Jason David Frank made his second MMA fight a success with a first round TKO. In a follow up to my article on his victory I talked with Frank about his recent fight and Jean Claude Van Damme. We talk about his future MMA plans, upcoming fights and what he’s doing out side of the cage. Frank is a very fan friendly guy with a following of fans that are very passionate of his power ranger days and his MMA career. Jason David Frank wins & calls out Jean Claude Van Damme

Friday night the former power ranger moved his MMA record to 2-0 by defeating Chris Rose at Lonestar Beatdown: Dallas. Frank looked more comfortable inside that cage in his second professional fight. He relied heavily on his muay thai skills to punish Rose with knees throughout the short fight. Frank Knocked down Rose minutes into the first with a flurry of punches and kicks. Frank moved in for some ground and pound and the ref had to step in and end the fight.
