Lightweight dark horses Jim Miller(19-2) and Kamal Shalorus (7-0-2) will meet this weekend at UFC 128, in a clash that places Miller’s technique and endurance against Shalorus’ raw aggression.
The UFC hits the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, March 19, for UFC 128 with a card that has seen some late shuffling, yet still looks to be a solid card. A card that will feature a light heavyweight title fight for the first time in over 10 months as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (19-4) will make his first title defense against Jon Jones (12-1).
The 13 bout UFC 128 fight card is official and today the promotion released the televised schedule that will include four preliminary bouts along with the PPV portion.
Thursday December 16, World Extreme Cagefighting will be hosting their final event due to the recent merger with the UFC. The upcoming WEC 53 card will help end the year and the promotion with a bang as both the Bantamweight and Lightweight titles are both on the line.
WEC 49 is headlined by former lightweight champ Jamie Varner against Kamal Shalorus.
The fight card will have 4 current or former champs on it including the current and interim Lightweight champs to unify the belt.
