Last night’s XFC 19 took place at Charlotte’s Grady Cole Center with a main event put together just days before fight night. Just days ago the XFC 19 main event was scheduled as Corey Hill vs. Mike Bronzoulis but last night’s headliner ended up being Roger Carroll vs. Nicolae Cury.
The August 3rd XFC 19: Charlotte Showdown was originally scheduled to be headlined by welterweights Corey Hill and Jason South. This past week XFC president got word that South withdrew from the fight due to personal reasons and the hunt for a replacement was underway. It didn’t take long though as legacy FC veteran Mike Bronzoulis has been tabbed as Hill’s new opponent at XFC 19.
From the Arena Theater in Houston, Texas was Legacy Fighting Championship 9 last night on HDNet. The six fight main card was headlined by a welterweight title fight between the current title holder Jorge Patino against the former LFC champion Mike Bronzoulis. Patino won the belt in his last outing, a belt that was vacated by Bronzoulis after he signed with Strikeforce.
Tomorrow night the all things MMA channel, HDNet will add another promotion to their already impressive lineup. Live from the Fair Park Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas Shark Fights 14 will air for the first time on HDnet
