One of the men responsible for bringing the WWF to the forefront of sports and entertainment was none other than the unforgettable “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Growing up as a youngster who loved the WWF for it’s over the top theatrics and relentless smack talk, myself and the kids in my neighborhood placed the Macho Man on somewhat of a pedestal. Minutes after Paul Kelly defeated T.J. O’Brien on the undercard of UFC 123 he was called out on twitter. The one calling him out is none other than Gabe Ruediger (17-6), who said this via twitter “Just heard Paul Kelly won. Please Joe Silva, let me fight him next”.

Roy Nelson set to face Cheick Kongo Next
Straight from the man himself, Roy Nelson is telling his fans that he will be fighting Heavyweight gatekeeper Cheick Kongo for his next fight. Nelson who is currently in Hawaii getting set to corner friend and fellow Ultimate Fighter 10 cast member Scott Junk for his Galaxy MMA fight May 1st. Posting the message via the internet, Nelson didn’t name an event or date for his fight with Kongo but it’s believed to be on UFC 116 on July 3rd. UFC 116 is where the Heavyweight title will once again be unified as Brock Lesnar will face Shane Carwin in the night’s Main event.
