We at MMA Valor are very please to announce that TUF 11 fighter Clayton “The Money Shot” McKinney will be blogging here each week. Every Thursday you’ll be able to read what McKinney had to say about that weeks Ultimate Fighter episode. He will talk about what he thought of the fight that week plus anything that might have happened that week inside the house. As a bonus he will also be available to answer some of your questions that you might have by emailing him right here.

If you will recall Mckinney in episode one fought his good friend Charley Lynch (6-0) for the right into the Ultimate Fighter house. The fight was very one sided in Mckinney’s favor as he looked great standing plus showed brutal ground and pound. The fight was stopped by the ref and declared a TKO win for Mckinney at 4:07 to earn his spot in the house. Lynch was beaten and had his nose broken in several places but showed a ton of heart which caught the eye of Dana White. The UFC president was also impressed of the fight the friends put on to try and get into the house, that is what he wants to see.

A little background on Mckinney, he was born March 10th, 1982 and fights out of Orlando, Florida where he trains at the jungle with UFC fighter Tom Lawlor and Seth Petruzelli. He is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu blackbelt and works as a bartender when he’s not knocking out opponents. He comes into the show with a 4-2 record (3 ko’s / 1 sub.) and usually fights at 170lbs.

This season looks to be a really good one as all the fighters appear to be very good. There is also sure to be some surprises as there always is but this season might have the biggest. Having Clayton McKinney blogging here will only make the season better, look for his first post here Thursday. Remember you can email a question anytime for Mckinney and then look for it on Thursday.

About the Author ()

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
