UFC 150 Henderson Vs Edgar II Results

UFC 150 took place this Saturday night in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center, and on pay per view. In the main event, it was Benson Henderson who pulled off the split decision win to remain the lightweight champion. The first round clearly went to Henderson and the second and fifth round went to Edgar, but the third and fourth rounds were very close rounds. Although many fans seem to disagree, two of the three judges gave those middle rounds to Henderson to give him the split decision win. According to the UFC, Nate Diaz will now square off against Benson Henderson for the lightweight strap.

Although the UFC 150 co-main event only last 77 seconds, both Donald Cerrone and Melvin Guillard did enough to secure $60,000.00 Fight Of The Night Bonus. Cerrone came out aggressive, and it was Guillard who landed a very slick counter-left hand that rattled Cerrone. Cerrone was able to regroup, and turn the tables on Guillard with a head kick that left him stumbling around the cage. Cerrone closed the distance and landed punches that put Guillard down, and the ref quickly jumped in to save him. For the knockout, Cerrone also earned another 60k for the Knockout of The Night bonus.
