As the end of 2011 approaches, the UFC is quickly filling up the early fight cards for 2012. With card are scheduled in Brazil, Las Vegas and Japan to open the New Year the UFC will be racking up the frequent flyer miles.

Coming off the Strikeforce grand prix event last week that saw very few fighters receiving medical suspensions, every single on the UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou card was given some form of mandatory suspensions. The majority of the competitors received a very small mandatory 7-day suspension but some of the suspensions did climb as high as 60 days.

Brookins faces a tough task Tonight against Koch
Johnathan Brookins won the Ultimate Fighter Season 12 back in December of 2010. Due to several injuries, Brookins will finally make his UFC debut since winning the contest, taking on top featherweight Erik Koch at UFC Fight Night 25.

Battle of the Bayou sounds more like something out of the civil war history book then a UFC event but nevertheless, tomorrows UFC Fight Night 25 dawns the name. The UFC returns to the big easy and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana for the first time in over nine years. The free card will air live on Spike TV, with the undercard streaming on Facebook.
