The promotions third to last event of 2013 will be headlined by a five round (not that it will last that long) main event between heavyweights Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva. While the New Zealander (Hunt) is the main attraction, the rest of the UFC Fight Night 33 card is filled with local talent, both new & familiar faces.

The UFC will travel abroad once again this weekend for the UFC Fight Night 33. Instead of Brazil, this time they are touching down in Brisbane, Australia, with a slew of Aussie fighters chomping at the bit to fight on the big show. Our main event features Aussie legend Mark Hunt, as he looks to keep afloat at the top of the division, facing Brazilian monster Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
A great night of fights is now in the books and a handful of fighters earned some extra cash with their UFC 160 performances. UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez retained his title but his dominate performance wasn’t enough to earn him a bonus.
The UFC heavyweight title is on the line tonight in the UFC 160 main event from inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Cain Velasquez will look for a repeat performance as he defends his title against Antonio Silva, who will be looking to avoid that repeat performance.
Two fighters didn’t make weight on their first attempt and one of them even got tossed off the stage ahead off tomorrows UFC 160 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Back from another trip to Brazil the UFC returns home this Memorial Day weekend with a heavyweight title fight and UFC 160. Having regained his title in December of last year, Cain Velasquez defends the heavyweight title against a man in Antonio Silva that he completely destroyed almost exactly one year ago.
Another night and another title on the line as the UFC rolls into Fight City USA with an outstanding UFC 160 fight card. Our main event is a rematch you wouldn’t expect, yet one that is hard to argue against, as Cain Velasquez faces Antonio Silva for the second time. Silva was destroyed in their last fight, but a win over Travis Browne and Alistair Overeem paved his way to another chance at a win over Velasquez. The gold at the end of the rainbow just sweetens the pot.
MMA has been on hiatus for the first third of the month and fight fans addicted to the sport are starting to going through withdraws. Thankfully those of you suffering from the shakes get your fix this with Friday’s MFC 37. Things begin to pick up from there as there will be two UFC events as well as LFC 20.
