Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis is arguably more famous for his Jackie Chan, Matrix style kick to the head of Benson Henderson, than he is for winning the WEC belt from ‘Bendo’ at the final WEC event before the UFC fully integrated the organization. When Pettis made his UFC debut, talks of him being the number one guy, alongside Jim Miller, were the dominant discussions in regards to the UFC lightweight division.

UFC Octagon girl Brittney Palmer is Playboy’s March Cover Girl

Following in the footsteps of fellow UFC Octagon girls Rachelle Leah and Arianny Celeste, Brittney Palmer will grace the March cover of Playboy which hits newsstands this Friday, February 17th. The 24-year-old Las Vegas native and former WEC ring girl will also have an 8-page nude pictorial in the magazine, as well as on Playboy.com.

Looks like Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber 3 at UFC 148

If the UFC isn’t careful fans might start to think Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber is a yearly occurrence that comes around every July. Following their Bantamweight title fight last July at UFC 132 the two will likely feel a bit of déjà vu when they step back into the Octagon on July 7th at UFC 148 for their third meeting. The rivals will square off in the same exact arena, one year and five days after Cruz evened the score with a unanimous decision victory.

Lots to prove in Main Event of XFC 16: High Stakes

Tomorrow night the Knoxville Civic Auditorium-Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee will play host to XFC 16: High Stakes. In the night’s main event lightweights Drew Fickett and Jamie Varner face off in a bout with “High Stakes” as each fighter has lost to prove.

The New Year is coming and this is the time where we often reflect on the events and happenings of the current year.  I remember ringing in 2011, and thinking back to November of 2010, where I saw L.C.
