The main event of last night's WSOF 3 had probably the craziest finishes you'll ever see in MMA as welterweight Josh Burkman submitted Jon Fitch in walk-off style. There was no tap by Fitch, no stopping of the fight by the referee, only Josh Burkman rolling over and letting go his sleeping opponent.

It's a busy weekend for fights, but World Series of Fighting is doing its best to stand out with Friday’s WSOF 3. We've got more than a few familiar faces at the top of the card and they're all in some intriguing matches that will define this young company; putting asses in seats or making people change the channel.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada will play host to the WSOF 3 event to be held on Friday, June 14th. The upstart promotion had previously announced welterweights Josh Burkman and Jon Fitch as the headliners for their third event but today they began announcing more fights.
Following his impressive win over Aaron Simpson at last weekend’s WSOF 2, Josh Burkman felt his deserved a World Series of Fighting title shot. At the same time though he also felt that his next WSOF opponent, Jon Fitch, did not deserve a title shot as he has not “earned” it he explained.
