Kyle Noke Makes Quick Work of Chris Camozzi

For any UFC fighter who’s home is outside the U.S., it’s a great honor to be given the opportunity to fight in front of your hometown fans on the biggest stage in MMA. Kyle Noke took on fellow TUF cast mate, Chris Camozzi at UFC 127 and came out the hero in front of all the Aussies in attendance.

Being the heavy favorite coming into the bout surely boosted Noke’s confidence and his well-rounded fight game backed it all up. From the sound of the bell, it was clear that Camozzi was looking for a stand-up war, but Noke had other plans. The Australian awaited he chance to get the fight to the ground and when he did, his skills truly shined.

Noke immediately mounted Camozzi and was able to take his back as Camozzi tried turning away. Soon thereafter, Noke sunk in his hooks and locked up a rear-naked choke, which forced Camozzi to tap. Noke raised his arms in victory as his country cheered for him.

The win moves Noke to 3-0 since his time on The Ultimate Fighter, and he has yet to go the distance inside the Octagon. With another impressive win under his belt, Noke is likely take a step up in competition in his next bout and continue his ascent up the middleweight ladder.
