UFC Newcomer Andrew Craig to Face Kyle Noke at UFC on FX 2
With the first UFC on FX card just hours away from taking place the second show on FX is continuing to take shape. The latest addition is undefeated and recently signed middleweight Andrew Craig (6-0) who will be making his UFC debut in hostile territory against the Kyle Noke. UFC on FX 2 takes place in Noke’s backyard of Sydney, Australia on March 3rd.
“I can’t describe the excitement I felt when I found out this opportunity was available to me,” Craig said. “I am thankful to the UFC for giving me a chance to prove my abilities in the Octagon. Things have happened so fast in my professional career, but I feel as though I’m ready to showcase my fighting abilities to the world.”
Craig is the current Legacy Fighting Championships Middleweight champion and was previously a IXFA champion. He most recently fought last September at LFC 8, defeating Eric Schambari by unanimous decision.
Noke (19-5-1) is coming off a submission loss in August against Ed Herman at UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle. He came into that fight having won five in a row, including a first round submission victory over Chris Camozzi the last time the UFC was in Australia.
Noke was originally scheduled to face Jared Hamman on the card but an injury forced him off the card and opened the door for Craig.
