MMA Valor Fighter Rankings for March 2014

The month seemed to fly by in record time and this month’s version of the MMA Fighter Rankings will look nearly the same as February’s. No it’s not because I just copied and pasted last month’s so stop thinking that. The fights in February just didn’t produce many upsets and thus the rankings hardly changed.

The lone change to the Men’s Fighter Rankings was in the middleweight division as the former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida makes his debut on the 185 lbs. ranks. Following Machida’s unanimous decision win over Gegard Mousasi at UFC Fight Night 36 the Brazilian finds himself in the #5 position in the middleweight division. Though having only fought twice at middleweight Machida finds himself challenging for the title at UFC 173 in May due to circumstances.
