UFC Announces TUF 14 Casting Call
The 13th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” hasn’t even started broadcasting, yet the UFC and Spike TV will hold an open casting call for Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter. The newest installment to the series will be casting mixed martial artists in both the featherweight (145 pounds) and bantamweight (135 pounds) divisions.
Whether the 14th season will include featherweight, bantamweight or both is yet to be determined though. The current season (it’s 13th) features 14 welterweight fighters but during the tryouts leading up to the season both welterweights and middleweights were invited.
Tryouts will take place at The Marriott at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ. You must be 21 or over to participate and applicants will grapple and hit pads and MUST HAVE a professional MMA record with at least THREE (3) fights.

Monday, March 21, 2011
Registration opens at 8 AM ET; Tryouts at 10 AM ET.
Fighters must arrive between 8 and 9 AM ET.
Media members are encouraged to arrive at 10 AM ET.
