Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz 2 all but Official (Update)

Guess Nick Diaz isn’t stepping away from MMA after all. Less than a week after Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz went five round to crown an interim welterweight champion at UFC 143, they have agreed to do it again. What started as a rumor was quickly confirmed by UFC President Dana White tonight, “The rumor is true, Carlos did accept the fight today and Carlos is coming on Friday,” tweeted White.

The Spider to 205 Brings up a Multitude of Questions

Yesterday, Fighters Only ran a story that featured a statement made by Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira that talked about a matchup between UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Number One Contender Yushin Okami. He claimed that this fight could take place at UFC Rio in August, but then also stated that he is confident Silva will win and once he does he plans to move up to the Light Heavyweight division, as a result of no further competition at Middleweight.

Miller vs. Diaz Could Happen Sooner than Later

Just 24 hours after a successful title defense from Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, the promotion has made some changes to Tim Kennedy’s upcoming fight. Kennedy, who was defeated by Souza for the Middleweight title, was originally scheduled to face Jason Miller, but the bout has since been scrapped and Luke Rockhold will now face Kennedy in March.
