Just days after the UFC announced that Jose Aldo, the UFC featherweight champion would be taking on Erik Koch in the UFC 149 main event, tickets for the event will go on sale this week. The event will take place Saturday, July 21st from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and will be the promotions first trip to Calgary.

Coming off a brutal submission loss to Frank Mir at UFC 140, in which his humerus bone was broke during a Kimura, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is set to make his return to the Octagon. The MMA veteran will be matched up against the French striker Cheick Kongo on July 21st at UFC 149 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Saturday’s UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida card from Toronto, Canada was a brutal event to say the least. Well the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services backed up those claim by suspending every fighter on the card received at least a 14 days. However seven fighters, including Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Tito Ortiz and Mark Hominick received much stiffer suspensions of 60 days following their defeats.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion put those stories to rest as he defeated the former Pride Heavyweight Champion, stopping him for the second time during last nights UFC 140.
