UFC Middleweight Champion and pound for pound greatest Anderson Silva again dispatched the man who “had the greatest shot at beating him” and in doing so ran his UFC record to a perfect 14-0.  Let that marinate for a moment.  Anderson Silva is 14-0 inside the UFC Octagon, an achievement that will likely never again be met.  So now that he’s cleaned out the division, what’s next?

Rashad Evans replaces Thiago Silva to fight Rampage Jackson at UFC 130

According to sources, Thiago Silva has pulled out of his scheduled fight against Rampage Jackson at UFC 130, and Rashad Evans has come to the rescue and stepped in to replace Silva. Last weekend Evans was forced to pull out of his bout with the light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua due to a knee injury and his teammate Jon “Bones” Jones replaced him.
