An all heavyweight main card, now that’s just insane, right? Well contrary to those beliefs, the UFC has put together a main card featuring 10 heavyweights, including a title fight in the main event. The card has seen major changes up and down, including every single main card bout, but through all the changes UFC 146 is still a top-notch card.
With the Overeem fiasco finally brought to a head, UFC 146 doesn't have the title fight fans wanted, but it's a title fight none-the-less. Coming in on short notice, former Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir will step up and take on the seemingly unstoppable Junior Dos Santos as the main event of this all heavyweight PPV. Following past announcements of four other heavyweight bouts for the May 26th card, the UFC today added a fight between Mark Hunt and Stefan Struve and confirmed that for the first time in UFC history, all five main card bouts will be heavyweight fights.
