This Saturday, Sep. 29th in Tacoma, Washington MMA fans are in for a treat as Halquist Productions’ CageSport XXI takes over the Emerald Queen Casino with three feature bouts. Not only will the card be stacked, it will also be the first time CageSport will have their event televised on ROOT Sports.

Most of the UFC on FOX 4 talk surrounded the two light heavyweight bouts headlining the card but when it was all said and done, Joe Lauzon stole the show as well as two fight night bonuses. That isn’t anything new though because when you put Joe Lauzon on a fight card you can almost guarantee that he is going to get a UFC fight night bonus.

After making one change to the MFC 34 lineup, Maximum Fighting Championship has finalized the lineup for the August 10th MFC 34: Total Recall lineup. The lone change to the lineup was Jason Zentgraf stepping in for Mike Kent to take on Cody Krahn in the opening televised bout at MFC 34.

Tonight UFC 149 was one of those nights; some will call it an off-night while others will refer to it as crap. While the final four fights couldn’t live up to the rest of the card, UFC 149 did have its moments and a few of the fighters were rewarded for them.

Coming off a successful event on April 21st Rogue Fights returns to the Win-River Casino in Redding, California on July 28th. Rogue Fights: Freedom Fights will feature 13 amateur and professional bouts with fighters with the top gyms on the west coast. Among the stacked will be four title fights, two will be amateur and the other two pro, as well as many returning fighters from the last Rogue Fights event.

Silva/Sonnen, Ortiz/Griffin III, Cung Le/Patrick Cote etc. All the big boys step to the Octagon beginning for the UFC 148 main card at 7PM PST. If you can't catch the fights on PPV on in person, you can catch the results here, as they happen.

Tonight before the mega-stars hit the UFC Octagon, the preliminary fighters will make their walk down and fight at UFC 148. Let’s be honest, if you’re an MMA fan, tonight is like Christmas even circa you’re tenth birthday. It’s impossible to sit still, sleep at night and all you’re doing is counting the minutes until tomorrows UFC 148. Hey, there’s a lot going down tomorrow. Anderson Silva will finally get his hands on Chael Sonnen, and Chael will get the opportunity to prove he’s more than words. Not to mention Tito’s swan song and rubber match with Forrest Griffin.
