UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou Medical Report

Coming off the Strikeforce grand prix event last week that saw very few fighters receiving medical suspensions, every single on the UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou card was given some form of mandatory suspensions. The majority of the competitors received a very small mandatory 7-day suspension but some of the suspensions did climb as high as 60 days.

“UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou” took place this past Saturday at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The event’s main card aired on Spike TV, and preliminary action streamed live on Facebook.

Overall, 20 fighters were issued 7-day suspensions, 2 were issued 30-day suspensions due to TKO and 2 were issued 60-day suspensions due to more serious injuries. Suspensions were handed down by the Louisiana Boxing and Wrestling Commission and were originally reported by MMAJunkie.com.
