Making his Octagon debut and riding an eight fight winning streak, Brandon Thatch made short work of his opponent Justin Edwards on the preliminary portion of the UFC Fight Night 27 fight card.

After helping launch FOX Sports 1 last weekend the UFC returns this week with a Wednesday card from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. While it has some big shoes to fill, UFC Fight Night 27 has the match ups to delivery another great card.
Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 27 is the start of a ridiculous week of UFC events and the fans will be treated to a slew of outstanding match-ups, and a main event a long time coming. Having suffered his first UFC loss out of the gate, Carlos Condit will look to rebound and redeem himself, taking on Danish slugger Martin Kampmann. We also have a division-shaping fight in our co-main spot, as Donald Cerrone takes on the surging Rafael Dos Anjos.
The UFC returns to the Land of the Rising Sun tonight with the UFC on FUEL TV 8: Silva vs. Stann. Also returning to Japan is MMA legend Wanderlei Silva, who will be in the night’s five round non-title main event against Brian Stann.
After a long absence from the Japanese market, the UFC returns the Saitama, Japan with the UFC on FUEL TV 8 this weekend for the second time in just over a year. Also making a return to Japan will be Wanderlei Silva who is headlining the card along with Brian Stann.

This morning MMA fans are in for a little treat with the completely free UFC on FUEL TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic fight card. Fans don’t often get UFC fights this early in the morning but with the promotion in Nottingham, England the prelims are set to set at approximately 10am PT / 1pm ET and the main card will air of FUEL TV starting at 1pm PT / 4pm ET.
All but one of the 22 fights on the UFC on FUEL TV 5 card made weight today in Nottingham, England. The lone fight was welterweight DaMarques Johnson who took the fight on short notice and was unable to make the agreed upon weight of 175 pounds.
