UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen Bold Predictions

If you haven’t heard the UFC has brought back the Fight Night’s in honor of moving to the new Fox Sports 1 channel which launches this weekend with UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen.

The UFC has assembled one of their best free card in history for the first MMA event on Fox Sports 1. Up and down the 13 bout UFC Fight Night 26 card are popular fighters, including Chael Sonnen, Alistair Overeem, Urijah Faber, Conor McGregor and hometown favorite Joe Lauzon.

In the night’s main event will be light heavyweights Mauricio Rua and Chael Sonnen. The former champion Rua has been trying to find a winning streak since joining the UFC 10 fights ago and is coming off a decision loss to Alexander Gustafsson. Sonnen will be returning to middleweight after this fight but will be looking to snap a two fight losing streak against Rua.

For those that don’t know where to find FOX Sports 1, the SPEED channel is being re-branded on August 17^th to FOX Sports 1. You’ll need to make sure you have the channel though so check with your cable provider.

Following a 8-4 performance with my picks at UFC 163, the overall totals now sit at 144-78 (65%). UFC Fight Night 26 takes placed at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
